  • Resident Trout Wade Trips (May through September) Enjoy the solitude of Ontario’s finest brook, brown and rainbow trout streams and rivers, including the world famous Grand River tailwater fishery, where big brown trout up to 28” on dry flies are common. We have consistent spinner hatches all summer long.
  • Resident Trout Drift Boat Trips (May through September) Drift quietly down stream while casting to large brown and rainbow trout from a custom-built McKenzie style drift boat. You will spend a minimum of 8 hours fly-fishing one of in southwestern Ontario’s quality trout rivers. Both dry fly and indicator-nymphing techniques are used. This is an ideal trip for anglers of all skill levels.
  • Bass, Pike and Muskie Drift Boat Trips (June through September) When the rivers warm up, the best fly fishing in Ontario is just getting started. Hook up to 40 Smallmouth Bass per day averaging 3-4 lbs, with some topping 6 lbs! Cast deceivers and poppers to shore cover for Pike and the elusive Muskellunge. Southern Ontario is the best place on the planet to target and consistently catch muskie on the fly. Ken has guided clients to fly caught muskies up to 23 lbs. This is another great trip that anglers of all skill levels will find both challenging and rewarding.
  • Salmon and Steelhead wade trips (March through December) Fly-fish one of the many Southwestern Ontario rivers supporting substantial runs of salmon and steelhead. Immerse yourself in the most traditional of fly fishing adventures. These fish are big and strong. A 30” salmon or steelhead can pull the line off of your reel at an amazing rate. This is a great adventure for reasonably fit anglers with moderate to advanced casting skills.
  • Salmon and Steelhead Drift Boat Trips (March through December) Drift some of the most pristine rivers in Southwestern Ontario for these leaping silver bullets. Salmon to 20 lbs and steelhead to 15 lbs are regularly hooked. Enjoy a hot shore lunch to warm you up and renew your energy. This trip is a fine option for anglers of all skill levels that want the adventure fly-fishing for these hard-fighting aerial acrobats while staying warm and dry in the comfort of our custom built drift boat.
  • New for 2007: Overnight Drift Boat Trips (June through September) The ultimate Steelhead, Bass and Muskie adventure! Two day drift boat adventures on the Saugeen, Maitland and Grand Rivers. Camp on the banks of the river or stay at a local B&B. The Hexagenia hatch/spinner fall on the Saugeen River and Grand River occur at dusk. The very best hatches occur in sections of the rivers that can only be drifted with an overnight trip. Camping on the banks of the rivers ensures we will be in the best locations at prime time to hit a magnificent Hex spinner fall for Smallmouth or Hendrickson hatches for drop back Steelhead. The trip includes: two full days guided fishing covering 20-30 kms of river, tent and sleeping pads for 2 (sleeping bags required), 2 lunches, 1 dinner and a hearty breakfast, flies and gear, and digital photos. Video diaries are also available.
  • Carp: Ontario’s Bonefish (May and June) Maybe not as pretty as a bonefish, but every bit the challenge. Wade Lake Huron tributaries, scanning for tails of huge carp feeding on the flats. Sight cast to 20 lbs or more of pure muscle that can pull like a tractor! Highly recommended for experienced anglers looking to step up to the ultimate fly-fishing challenge in Ontario waters.
